Dapper grooms Sam and Nick, who host an infamous annual extravaganza for their group of friends, threw a bash for the ages to celebrate their wedding after years of togetherness. The two envisioned a classic affair, complete with black-tie attire and plenty of good champagne, without sacrificing their ultimate goal: FUN.
After getting ready in downtown Minneapolis at the Hewing Hotel, their crew of best friends took a stroll through the North Loop to Aria MPLS, the setting for their bash, for some formal Vogue-esque portraits. After pre-ceremony cocktails everyone was ushered in for an emotional ceremony celebrating their history together and making it official. Guests were then treated to not one or two, but FIVE different musical acts throughout the evening - a string quartet to start, a surprise gospel choir during their recessional (singing this jam, of course), a 17-piece swing band at cocktail hour, Erica West band to kick off the reception, and a DJ to keep the dance floor going. Bre Ward (one of our very favorite planners!) kept the day running smoothly, with plenty of amazing food and treats from Create Catering and Angel Food Bakery.
I love that these two make celebrating the best parts of life a top priority. They are clearly such a beacon for their community - constantly bringing people together to create days that are all about joy, love, and connection. You two are an inspiration, and we’re so grateful to have been a part of this unforgettable day!
