Libby and Travis’ wedding at the historic Machine Shop in Minneapolis was full of organic style, candid moments, personal touches, and most of all an amazing crew of family and friends.
These two have such a special connection. They share so many qualities - deep thoughtfulness and care for their loved ones, intelligence, and wit to name just a few - and their mutual adoration of travel, great food, and most importantly their fur baby Medusa the cat make them a perfect match for the long haul. We’re so excited to call them lifelong friends after sharing this important time with them!
Along with a top-notch couple, we got to work with some of our favorite vendors on this one. We often get asked “what are some of your favorite venues to shoot at?” Every time MACHINE SHOP is one of our first answers. This historical industrial building is a jaw-dropper right when you walk in, with minimal effort required. On top of that it’s run by one of the best teams in the biz - super experienced, down-to-earth, and basically just the pros of pros.
Keeping the day gorgeous and running as smooth-as-can-be, Kirsten of Fab Event Design is one of our very favorite planners. She is so kind with years of experience, and along with Sadie’s Floral and Linen Effects she made Libby and Travis’ vision of an organic, easygoing, quirky gathering come to life. DJ Charlie of Instant Request kept the dance floor rocking from start to finish (hello massive Queen sing-and-headbang-along!)
Enjoy scrolling through this lovely June day, jam-packed with candid photos (our favorite :). You’ll also find tips from our lovely bride Libby throughout!
