Festive Third Ward Milwaukee Wedding • Morgan + Michael

We headed to Jen’s home city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin this winter for a very high-energy, VERY fun day to celebrate Morgan and Mike’s marriage. These two have been together for over a decade and currently live in Virginia Beach. Their family and friends are scattered all around the country, and on top of that Mike is in the Navy, so their priority for the day was simple: it was all about their people joining together for a big holiday reunion in her hometown.

Morgan is one of the most effervescent people we’ve ever met. She’s so full of strength, wit, and life. It’s completely contagious to anyone around her, and she was truly the center of this joyful day. We kicked things off in the Third Ward at the Iron Horse hotel for some very spirited bridal prep. Lots of emotion filled their ceremony at a church downtown, and after they made it official we hopped on the party bus for a tour-de-Milwaukee classics including the Milwaukee Art Museum, Lakefront Brewery, and finally back to the Third Ward for their reception at industrial Black Swan. A cozy candlelit dinner in the warm space felt like an intimate holiday meal. A lively round of speeches moved us right into one of the craziest (read: best) dance floors we’ve ever photographed thanks to Morgan’s professional dance background and crew.

These two have already been through so much together, and the foundation of their relationship is clearly so strong. Together they are a perfect balance of stability and spontaneity. I love how they love each other, and can’t wait to watch this love unfold for many decades to come. We love you M+M!!
