Hotel Alma + Solar Arts Winter Wedding • Sarah + Joe
World travelers Sarah and Joe currently live way over in London together for a highly adventurous couple of years of working and exploring abroad. During that time they have traveled to literally dozens of different cities and countries, making for a true whirlwind first couple of years together. However, for their wedding they decided to bring it home to their roots in Minneapolis for a super cozy, community-oriented winter celebration.
Starting at stunning Hotel/Restaurant Alma, Sarah got ready with her ladies in a truly lovely boutique suite. Pro tip: spaces like these, or even AirBnb’s, can be a lovely alternative to more generic hotel rooms - more space is typically available, and they offer a perfect elegant backdrop for the start of the day. We held their first look right in the restaurant - right where these two foodies had their first date! After a lighthearted ceremony at one of the oldest churches in Northeast Minneapolis, the gang headed to Solar Arts by Chowgirls for an intimate, cozy, candle-lit dinner in the rustic and warm space. Bre Ward or Bre is Fun (one of our most highly and enthusiastically recommended planners) ensured everything was perfect throughout the day so the couple could focus on enjoying it. The evening ended with an epic dance party, and a sparkler exit with the wedding party out in the snow!
So happy for these two world citizens. We’ll anxiously await the day they move home, but for now we’ll enjoy watching them explore as husband and wife from afar!
