Samantha and Jake / Stillwater, Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Sam & Jake’s organic, elegant, effortless, hilarious day. Beginning at Haus Salon, Sam started the day with friends and co-workers in this beautiful raw industrial setting. Great photos start with great light, and this space has plenty of it! The cite of their ceremony and party was decorated with an herbal, minimal, effortless approach, and we were so inspired by it. Their day put a relaxed atmosphere and bonding with loved ones and each other at the forefront. It’s also proof that rainy days are more than A-O-K.

Jen and Austin / Glensheen Mansion Duluth Wedding Photographer

What better time than Halloween week to share Jen & Austin’s haunted mansion wedding! The North Shore is one of our favorite places on earth - we’re so inspired by the rocky shoreline, the open expanse of the lake, the constantly changing and moody weather, and the laid-back and friendly attitude of people there. On top of this, our couple Jen & Austin are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Jen grew up in Duluth and has always been fascinated by the Glensheen Mansion - a supposedly haunted and beautiful grand home right on the shore. They were wed here in a beautiful ceremony on the terrace, followed by a lakefront dinner. The vibe definitely got spookier as the light faded, with the evening ending with a full-on party in the basement and ghost stories by the bonfire. We love the originality and joy of this day, and we’re so happy for these Clients-turned-friends!

Elevate / Downtown Minneapolis Portraits

We had a weekend off, so what did we do? Made our friends model so we could shoot more. We love incorporating architecture into our work, so we ventured into a deserted downtown Minneapolis to experiment a bit. Loving the cool tones, unexpected/extreme angles, and dramatic lines in this set. Plus our friends are really in love and that is just cute 💙.
